Dashboards
A dashboard keeps the charts you check often in one place. Open Telemetry › Dashboards. Dashboards are saved in your Agent and shared with everyone in the workspace.
Start with a built-in
Section titled “Start with a built-in”Six dashboards come ready to use:
| Dashboard | Answers |
|---|---|
| Fleet Command | How is the whole fleet doing: cost, demand, capacity and changes? |
| Economics | How long will cycles last, and what do they pay for? |
| Performance | How busy is the fleet, and which canisters drive it? |
| Memory Estate | How much memory does each canister use, against its limits? |
| Posture & Change | Who controls what, who can see it, and what changed? |
| Capacity & Limits | Which canisters are close to a limit or to freezing? |
Built-ins stay the same for everyone. To change one, choose Edit a copy.
Build your own
Section titled “Build your own”-
Choose New dashboard, or Edit on one of yours.
-
Add panel, then pick a visualization and write its query, as in Explore.
-
Drag panels to arrange them, and resize from the corner.
-
Save. The review names what changed.
You can also start from Explore: a query’s Save to dashboard adds it as a panel.
Read a panel
Section titled “Read a panel”- Each panel shows where its figures come from: Reported by your code, IC read by the Agent, or an availability check.
- A panel’s Evidence shows the exact query, the range, and the newest readings. Open in Explore asks the same question there.
- One panel failing doesn’t affect the others.
Good to know
Section titled “Good to know”- Versions keeps every saved revision. Restore brings one back as a new version.
- Share copies a link. It doesn’t give anyone access they don’t already have.
- Creating and editing needs Read-write. Deleting needs Admin.
