Interrupted payments
A closed tab or a lost connection can cut a payment off halfway. icLens keeps every payment from the moment you approve it, so you can finish it later. It never sends the same payment twice.
Finish a payment
Section titled “Finish a payment”-
Go back to where you started: the same canister, network and OISY account.
-
Open the payment again. icLens shows the original, kept payment instead of a new form.
-
Choose Reconcile original payment. icLens reads the ledger and either finishes delivery or tells you what happened.
Unfinished payments to the Reserve are listed in Cycles › Payments, with Finish payment.
What each result means
Section titled “What each result means”| Result | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Delivered | The cycles reached the canister. |
| Accepted | The ledger took the payment; delivery is still being checked. |
| Failed | Nothing was sent, or it was refunded. |
| Reconciliation required | icLens can’t yet tell. Don’t pay again: check first. |
A balance going up isn’t proof on its own: the canister may be spending, or receiving other top-ups. Check the delivered amount.
Top-ups by your Agent
Section titled “Top-ups by your Agent”When the Agent loses the reply to a top-up, it holds the Reserve until an owner checks it. In Cycles › History, an owner can use Close as spent once the ledger shows the outcome. It counts those cycles as spent and sends nothing. Automatic top-ups.
Good to know
Section titled “Good to know”- Don’t clear this browser’s data while a payment is unfinished: that’s where it’s kept.
- A workspace backup doesn’t include payments.
- If you need help, share the network, the canister ID and the block number. Never share your recovery phrase.
