Settings
Settings holds only you and this browser. Agent settings live in each Agent’s own Agent pages.
Account and wallet
Section titled “Account and wallet”- Account: how you signed in, and your Principal. Share the principal when a teammate adds you to an Agent.
- OISY wallet: connect it to pay for top-ups and new canisters. It shows your ICP and cycles balances.
OISY only pays when you choose Run as You in a review and approve the payment in OISY. About icLens shows the app version.
Appearance
Section titled “Appearance”- Colour mode: System, Dark or Light.
- Reduce motion: keep animation to a minimum.
- Times: your time zone, with UTC on hover.
- Cycles: shown in TC, where 1 TC is 10¹² cycles.
These stay in this browser.
Network
Section titled “Network”Choose Mainnet, the real Internet Computer, or Local, a replica you run for development. Switching signs you out and disconnects OISY, then you sign in again on the other network.
Local replica shows the gateway and Internet Identity it uses. Choose Edit addresses to point at a different local gateway.
Browser data
Section titled “Browser data”What icLens keeps in this browser: the This browser workspace, Agent connections, preferences and unfinished payments. From here you can export a backup, import one, or reset. Back up this browser.
Good to know
Section titled “Good to know”- Agents and canisters belong to one network. A Local Agent isn’t visible on Mainnet.
- Use Local only with a replica you run yourself.
