AI settings and daily digests

Open Agent › AI to control the assistant for your team. You need to be an Admin to change anything; Read-write members can see the settings and their own usage.

  • Assistant: turns explanations and rule drafts on or off.
  • Daily limit: how many questions each member may ask per day, from 1 to 1,000.
  • Privacy and Agent limits: allow Read-only thread sharing, and Per-request raw logs, where members pick log lines to include each time.

Questions cost no provider fee, but the Agent’s own work does use cycles. The Agent stops answering if its balance falls below its minimum reserve.

A digest is a short summary of the last day, written by the assistant at a set time (UTC), even with icLens closed. It’s sent to your Monitor receivers, or kept in the Agent if there are none.

  1. Turn on Digest under Daily digest.

  2. Make sure at least one receiver is set up in Monitor › Receivers.

  3. Read the digest, on Home or from Agent › AI. Each statement names the evidence it cites; earlier days are one click back. Under Delivery, Run digest now writes one straight away.

If a digest was written but never left, for example because its receiver was switched off, Retry delivery sends the same digest without writing a new one. A receiver that got the digest and refused it isn’t sent it again: check the receiver, then run a new digest.

  • A digest never acts: it doesn’t acknowledge alerts or change anything. Check what it says in Monitor or Timeline before you act.
  • How long AI history is kept is set in Storage and retention.
  • Exact quotas and reserve rules are in the Agent API reference.
