Back up this browser
The This browser workspace, your Agent connections and your preferences live only in this browser. A backup file lets you move them to another device, or get them back after clearing site data. Open Settings › Browser data.
Export a backup
Section titled “Export a backup”-
Choose Export a backup.

Pick what to keep: Saved canisters, Agent connections, Receipts for operations run as You, Drafts and Preferences.

Choose Download file, save it, then confirm with I kept this file.
The file holds no secrets: no keys, sign-ins, tokens or wallet details. It may still name your canisters and principals, so keep it private.
Restore from a backup
Section titled “Restore from a backup”Choose Import a JSON backup, review what the file contains, pick the categories to restore, and choose Import in this browser. Categories you don’t pick stay as they are. Anything that would clash with what’s already here is refused rather than overwritten.
Reset this browser
Section titled “Reset this browser”Reset browser data clears what icLens keeps here. Type reset to confirm.
Unfinished payments and operations whose outcome is unclear are kept, so you
can still finish them. Your Agents and canisters aren’t touched.
Good to know
Section titled “Good to know”- A backup doesn’t include Agent data. Your Agent keeps its own canister list, dashboards, rules and history.
- Restored Agent connections reconnect on their own. You still need your role in each Agent.
- Export before you reset.
